An Evening with Michael Carr-Gregg


​Dr Michael Carr-Gregg is an adolescent psychologist, a well-respected speaker and one of Australia's leading authorities on teenage behaviour.

Michael Carr-Gregg has been the resident parenting expert on Channel 7's Sunrise and a regular on it's Morning Show. He has written several bestselling books on parenting, including Surviving Adolescents, The Princess Bitchface Syndrome 2.0, Beyond Cyberbullying and When to Really Worry. He has also worked with organisations including Reach Out and beyondblue.

On Monday, 22 October, Chinchilla and district teachers and school staff will have the opportunity to listen to this acclaimed speaker and author during their Student Free Day activities. In the afternoon from 5.30-7.30pm, Michael will speak at a community event, ‘An Evening with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg’ where parent and community members can listen and ask questions. Free tickets have been distributed to school families. Community and extra tickets can be purchased at the Chinchilla Cultural Centre on Monday afternoon at a cost of $10 for adults, $5 for concessions. Topics suggested for presentation include Resilience in children; Bullying; and Mental Health and Wellbeing.

A FREE supervised movie, and popcorn, will also be running at the Cinema for the children to attend while parents are listening to Michael.

Free tea and coffee will be available. Soft drinks, chips and confectionaries will also be on sale.
