New cattle arrive

Chinchilla State High School is proud to announce the arrival of five head of cattle which have been loaned to the school by Mr Bret Bownhall.

The cattle are being cared by the Year 10 Agricultural students and have been NLIS tagged and checked over. There are several breeds, including Brahman, Hereford and Charolais, which are assisting students with their Beef Production unit this term. This unit mostly involves determining best quality, marbling and fat content of meat, as well as all things in cattle care and management.

Chinchilla State High School would like to sincerely thank Mr Brownhall for loaning these cattle to the school to assist learning.
