The school Inter-House Athletics Carnival events will be running on the following days:
- Thursday 29 July - Nominations only day
- Friday 30 July - Whole school carnival where every athlete will be competing

Only students who have nominated for events being held on Thursday will be allowed out of class. All other students will be expected to be in normal classes learning on Thursday 29 July.
Students that have nominated prior, will be allowed out of class in the nominated lesson time to participate in the event. Event slips will be given out in Form Class on Thursday.

Friday 30 July – Whole school carnival
This day will be the whole school carnival and attendance is expected for all students. Dress in house colours, participate and cheer and support each other.
Students can participate in any Track and Field event on the day even if they haven’t nominated and there will not be any normal subjects taught. The times are a guide only and can change.

What to wear and bring
Students are encouraged to wear their house colours, but need to ensure they are being sun-safe (e.g. hat, sunscreen) and wearing appropriate footwear. Also, bring along a water bottle, snacks and house spirit. Tuckshop will be open.
High risk events
Only students who have returned their athletics carnival high risk note will be allowed to compete in the following events
- Discus
- Javelin
- High jump- Fosbury Flop
Parent attendance
Parents are welcome to attend but must check in using the Check In Qld QR code when entering the school grounds. QR codes will be located at various entry points around the school.
